About

Welcome! Tech & Society Discussion Group is a fortnightly meetup for students and graduates at the University of Bristol where we talk about how technology and society are intertwined. We’re very interdisciplinary and welcome everyone - whether you’re a computer scientist, sociologist, engineer, artist, biologist, or philosopher.

Our next meet-up is on Tuesday 15th March 6-7pm at The White Bear. The topic is dating apps, and the reading is “Don’t Fall in Love on OkCupid”. For more info, including full event description, click here.

(We typically meet once fortnightly at The White Bear on a Tuesday, 6-7pm.)
